This 3D model was originally built using Sketchup 8 and then converted to every other 3D format imaginable. The native file type is .skp, while a 3dsmax scene uses 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 This is Falkeneck - a stunning 3D rendition of an HO model found on my model railroad layout. It's one of my all-time favourite models. Crafted by Faller in Germany, this impressive structure is just a shell, begging for someone to add an interior design. I scaled the model to 1" = 8', which translates to S Scale - not HO scale, which requires subtracting 10% from the measurements. My previous layout featured it in a moat until I revamped my track work entirely. Now, Falkeneck sits proudly on a residential street atop the helix. Bob UPDATE: Minor oversight detected: roof edge was pulled back instead of down to match the tower at the rear to the right. Simply apply Push-Pull and nudge it down even with the opposite side, which should be about 12 inches away. After adjusting this flaw, inspect underneath and eliminate a line running from the corner to the edge. You'll be surprised when a pesky green vanishes - simply redo that colour to complete the fix! OOPS, though I thought I had all loose ends tied up... Luckily, an interior update arrived via Paulwall's incredible redesign, bringing Falkeneck's design into focus!
