A skilled, but haughty and arrogant warrior in life and noted veteran of the Battle of Midgardia. Faljarn often lead the charge seeking nothing more than the glory of the first kill. It was this arrogance that turned out to be his undoing. Brought low by an overwhelming force of orkboyz while tasked with retaking a lost outpost, grievously wounded, but alive. The thought of the ignominy and his ultimate failure of his task, at having suffered such wounds at the hands of a whooping, hollering, barbaric fungal horde burned through his veins as if keeping his one remaining heart beating through pure rage. His elders saw him for what he was... a broken man enraged by the grief of losing his brethren. But with that loss, they saw potential to rebuild this once proud marine into something to serve the chapter. Cast into a Contemptor War-Chassis to stabilize Faljarn, he fights on in a desperate attempt to put right what he perceives as the grievous loss to his honor due to his arrogance, and the loss of what few he held dear from his glory seeking ambitions. In reality Faljarn was never considered that hot headed compared to his peers and few ever expected the young marine to succeed in his initial mission those many cycles ago. Forged anew in the years since his initial entombment. He still strives to prove himself through every slain enemy. Those who fought alongside Faljarn in the flesh are now long dead or spread to the far reaches of the galaxy. Now many who know his name owe him their lives, and are quick to tell the tale of Faljarn the Arrogant and although he will never believe it, many hold him in the highest esteem even amongst his venerated peers.
