This design is tailored specifically for use with the versatile Prosthetic Hand universal attachment octagonal bolt. The initial prototype consisted of a mouse component attached to the bolt using hot glue. Its intended functionality hinges on rotating the prosthetic to click specific buttons, and its construction enables relatively smooth mouse movement in desired directions. Manufactured from PLA filament with a 1.75mm diameter, this design can be scaled up or down as needed. My primary objective was to empower individuals who have lost hand function to control computers effectively, thereby giving them the opportunity to harness one of the most advanced and widely used technologies available today. Version 2.0 could potentially be enhanced by creating a mouse shape that contours more closely to actual mice; however, achieving this may prove challenging due to the vast array of designs from different manufacturers.
