Falcon Pi Player with Pi Hat Case

A case designed specifically for the FPP, equipped with a Pi Hat attachment, has been created to ensure a secure fit. The spacer fits snugly over the HDMI port, providing a stable surface for the Pi Hat to rest upon, as it is not supported at that end. To prevent shifting inside the case, a small spacer may need to be printed and placed on the opposite side of the Pi on the bottom part of the case. Fortunately, I didn't encounter any issues with this setup. To enhance stability, mounting holes were added; however, they proved to be too small and broke off easily during printing, so I chose to remove them altogether. As an afterthought, alignment notches were included in the corners, although a new case has yet to be printed featuring these notches. The mounting legs can be easily snapped off if desired. UPDATED 08-18-16 To provide additional room for cables, the 2 string port holes were enlarged slightly towards the edge of the case. A small ledge was added to the bottom of the case, allowing the board to fit more securely in place. This modification also enables the plastic to be removed if necessary for a proper fit. A small standoff was incorporated to hold the Pi Hat firmly in place when accessing the light strings. UPDATED 08-30-16 The slot for the MicroSD card was widened to accommodate easier installation and removal of the card. UPDATED 08-31-16 The opening where the voltage jumper is located was adjusted to facilitate the installation and removal of the jumper onto the 5V pins.
