This model has been thoroughly revised and upgraded to ensure a perfect fit and accuracy of corrections were made to match industry standards. Inspired by the test launch of Space X's Falcon Heavy, I have carefully crafted this rocket model with meticulous detail. The included Dragon lander features functional hatches that open and close smoothly. To simplify assembly and eliminate unnecessary supports, the entire design was created with 3D printability in mind. All components fit together seamlessly, requiring minimal clean-up, while allowing users to easily slot them into place without requiring any adhesive - aside from decorative elements that add an extra layer of realism. Moreover, I designed custom adapters to incorporate standard 50mm PVC pipes as the main structural elements, significantly reducing printing time and enabling easier handling. A collection of greeblies (decorative details) is also included for added flair and customization potential, with simple adhesive application required. For a realistic display experience, each component nests into its counterpart perfectly, so I adjusted my original design to minimize size - just be aware that this makes the finished product slightly shorter than the actual Falcon Heavy. Upon completion, this model stands proudly near a meter in height when utilizing the entire number of segments available. Not only does it showcase stunning visual appeal but also exhibits precise functionality - simply release and close the landing legs effortlessly by turning them and aligning their attachment points. Some notable features include retractable landing legs powered by simple piston-based mechanisms, with adjustable orientation for stability purposes. A slight detail alteration - relocating the button controlling these pistons from the surface view in my video presentation to its proper underside placement is required for improved performance and durability.
