Falcon Heavy

Falcon Heavy

This is a model my friend designed and I promised him I would upload it. It's a scale model of the Falcon Heavy, implying it has been reduced in size to fit on your printer. Its width and depth may not be impressive, but its height certainly is - an astonishing 400mm! If your printer can't reach that level, you'll need to scale down the print job accordingly. I've found this particular model prints relatively quickly given its lofty height, making it a great choice for showing off on your workbench. PLA filament should work perfectly since it's just a model and not intended for functional use. I used S3D to slice the design and incorporated custom supports with rafts underneath them because there isn't much surface area available for the print to adhere to the bed securely. Please note that I do not recommend using a raft on the entire object, as this could lead to complications during the printing process. On the other hand, the nozzles of the engines are hollow, so it's likely you'll need to add supports underneath to ensure they remain intact.
