Falcon 9 Strongback at 85% with open girders. I open up solid spaces so they closely resemble the real thing and add some girder-like embossing to the base. This is scaled to 85% of the original to fit this Falcon 9 Heavy when it's scaled to 85%. Even at this scale, this is a very long print. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2779030 Note: This version will not lay flat. Print straight up and tilt 20° only. Note: The base has holes to hold 48 USD pennies per side for added weight. They must be added during the print. Build instructions: Print one of each: bottom left, bottom right, T1, T2, and T3 Print two arms Print 6 base alignment tabs Print 4 upper alignment tabs The alignment tabs fit into slots on the model in order to help line up the pieces while gluing them together. Assembly order from bottom to top: Bottom Left and Right, T1, T2, T3 ****NOTE: All parts require supports while printing. Make sure there are NO SUPPORTS AROUND THE AXLE of the bottom left and right prints. If supports are printed inside the axle tube, they are difficult to remove and may bond to the axle, breaking it when rotated. The T1, T2, T3 parts can be printed vertically. But I print them front side down.
