Falco biarmicus, the bird species of interest, was first described by Temminck in 1825. This species is also known as the Lanner Falcon or the Peregrine-type Lanner Falcon. The specimen in question is identified by the code MZB 97-0066. A detailed examination of its cranium reveals interesting features. Measuring 63.8 mm in depth and 40.8 mm in width, this falcon's skull displays unique dimensions. It is worth noting that the subject is a female juvenile specimen collected on July 5th, 1996, in Sabadell, Vallès Occidental, Spain.
