Falafel Maker
thingiverse
When crafting falafels, it is crucial to have all the patties the same size. This mold ensures that the falafel patties are uniformly shaped. The handle and base feature a threaded connection, which guarantees a secure bond between them. To achieve this, the threads on the two components are intentionally mismatched, creating a lock when screwed together. Assembling the falafel maker is straightforward and rapid. Begin by attaching the shroud to the base, then thread the handle through the shroud and into the screw hole of the base. For further guidance, refer to the included photos for final assembly instructions. Disassembling the device is simply a matter of reversing the assembly process. Washing Instructions: - Start by disassembling the falafel maker. - Clean all parts in warm soapy water. - Avoid immersing the parts in extremely hot water or placing them in a dishwasher, as high temperatures may cause the plastic components to warp permanently. This versatile mold can also be used for creating small beef burgers and other similar-shaped products. The mold produces patties with a diameter of 60mm and a thickness of 15mm. Now, let your creativity shine! My printed design is made from PETG 1.75mm filament, with a layer height of 0.2mm on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. For added rigidity, I opted for a 30% infill density and used 3DFillies Orange filament. I hope you find this printed mold helpful as well.
