Fake Taper Candle with drippy wax

Fake Taper Candle with drippy wax

thingiverse

Found a lot of great candle holders but no actual candles were available. Here's one. It looks partially burned with drips running down the sides. Some black sharpie marker covering the wick helps create the effect. This guy prints out with almost 2cm diameter, so it should fit all appropriate candle holders (this is not a "tea light candle", this is a "taper candle"). Also, it prints about 10.5cm tall. Want to hold it up in style? I also made this wall sconce that works perfectly with this candle: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4164807 Useless background: Wife didn't want me burning a "real" candle in my den, because the sconces are so close to the ceiling that it would leave scorch marks on the plaster, or worse, a pile of ashes where the house used to be. Still, I got some cool sconces, they need some sweet candles. My slicer says these are 14 cents worth of plastic. I couldn't get a real candle for that price.
