I have uploaded a BR Shed Plate and a GWR build plate/loco registration plate, both of which need to be securely fastened to a wall using bolts that were originally used when attaching these plates to locomotives. To achieve this realistic look, I created a pseudo bolt component. The inner part of the pseudo bolt fits snugly into the existing holes on the plates and accepts a #6 screw for attachment to either a stud or plastic wall plug. Once in place, the cap can be pushed over the inner part to create an illusion that the plate is being held to the wall by 3/8" bolts. A complete Fusion 360 file has been included, allowing users to modify and adapt the inner part of the pseudo bolt for different bolt hole diameters. For the head of the pseudo bolt, I obtained CAD information from McMaster-Carr and then modified it to create a cap that complements the design.
