Fake bolt letterbox geocache
prusaprinters

So I decided to rework my threaded bolt geocache. Very easy to print in abs without supports (in my case) except for the log roller. For layer strength it needs to be printed laying down with support. Make sure to orient the split facing up, if you dont it will completely weld together and will be useless.

The log roller also has a 'X' stamp on the end to meet the requirements of also being a letterbox cache.

Screw this through a square sign post, a stop sign post Most of those square posts are 50mm so this will fit perfectly

Print instructions

Category: Puzzles Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: i3 MK3

Rafts: No

Supports: Yes

Resolution: 0.15

Infill: 30

Notes:

more infill makes a stronger part.

How I Designed This

I used fusion 360 to generate the threads and tinkercad for the over all design
