AA oversized batteries can have their power reduced by decreasing the number of batteries needed. Ensuring electrical continuity is best done with two "Parisian fasteners" positioned in both ends and welded together. Alternatively, electrical continuity can be achieved with two conductive screws (3 to 3.5 mm in diameter, head thickness 2 mm) connected by a 1 mm diameter electrical conductor, the wire wound around the screw heads, see below welding at the tip of the screw. Verify the electrical continuity and length of the false battery, which should be approximately 50.5 mm (see video).
