A Fairtrade Cookie Cutter and Stamp. This Is How You Make the Cookies: Make a light-colored dough that's perfect for cutting with the cutter. Put it on baking paper and roll it thin. Stamp the logos in a grid-like pattern, then remove the excess dough, leaving just the logos. Bake them until they're done. When they're ready, let them cool down completely. Leave the logos on the paper for now. Melt some chocolate and pour it over the logos, covering them about 1/8 inch deep. Let this cool until the chocolate has set, but is still slightly soft. Put new baking paper over it, then a cutting board or something similar, and flip everything over. You'll need to be brave for this step! Remove the original baking paper - you should see the baked dough logos embedded in the chocolate now. Use a pizza roller to cut the chocolate between the cookies, but leave some room for the letters. Then use either stamp to press the letters into the chocolate under each logo. Let everything cool down overnight. Now you can use these cookies to educate people about fair trade! Don't forget to send me a picture of your creations - I'd love to see them!
