Fairphone 2 Cover

A custom case for the Fairphone 2. The bottom section comes in two versions - one with a playful logo and another with a clear design. Feel free to modify it using the provided .blend file. The two parts connect via a small hook that fits into the inner frame of the phone, but be cautious not to remove the antenna stickers when attaching the lower case. It's highly recommended to print this in a soft, flexible material. Some careful trimming with a scalpel or knife may be necessary for the buttons and button holes due to their tight tolerances. Please note that your printer's Z-steps/mm setting might be off, resulting in a cover that's 1.25% taller than intended. This could lead to a poor fit on the phone. Wait until I rework the design or use a dirty workaround by stretching the bottom case by approximately 2mm in the Z-axis. Printer Settings: - Printer Brand: Wanhao - Printer Model: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 - Rafts: No - Supports: No - Resolution: 0.1-0.2mm - Infill: 0% - Notes: Both sections should be printed upright at a resolution of 0.05-0.15mm for optimal results. A fan is recommended for the first and last few millimeters of printing. The buttons can be printed with support in any harder material, such as PLA. Material Suggestions: - Soft and flexible materials like bendlay flex, laywood flex, or medium/hard TPU are ideal. - Avoid using PLA/PETG/PC/ABS as they may damage the phone due to stiffness. - For a transparent appearance, consider printing without infill (suitable with a 0.5mm nozzle) and at a coarse resolution.
