This revamped Fairchild F-27 model, available here, underwent a complete overhaul in 2016 with enhanced geometry, fresh textures, and additional features. Designed near to scale, the model boasts maximum detailing externally. Fully textured, it includes materials for the displayed livery. Aerodynamic components like ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, propellers, landing gears, and gear doors are animateable. It comes with various format files. The Fairchild F-27 is a variant of Fokker's F-27 twin-engine turbo-prop commercial passenger aircraft, designed in 1950 and had its first flight in 1955. The Fairchild Hiller companies in the U.S., under Fokker's license, produced it. The prototype was slightly tail-heavy, which led to fuselage extension by three feet and an extra seating capacity. West Coast Airlines inaugurated the operational service of the first F-27 in September 1958. Serving a diverse range of operators, these aircraft demonstrated remarkable performance as frontline airliners for small carriers. Retirement commenced in the 1980s, but some are still in use today. The F-27's legacy includes the Fairchild Hiller 227, a stretched version, and further developments like Fokker F-50 and F-60.
