Introducing an upgraded Fairchild F-27 model, meticulously reconstructed in 2016, featuring enhanced geometry, new textures, and additional features. The Fairchild F-27 is a variant of the iconic Fokker F-27, a twin-engine turbo-prop commercial passenger aircraft designed in 1950 and debuted in 1955. Under license from Fokker, Fairchild Hiller manufactured these planes in the U.S., extending the original prototype for better balance and capacity. West Coast Airlines received the first operational F-27 in September 1958, with numerous airlines operating them thereafter. The aircraft served as frontline airliners for small carriers, demonstrating remarkable performance. However, F-27s were gradually retired from service starting in the 1980s, with some still operational today. The F-27's legacy led to the development of the Fairchild Hiller 227, an extended version, and further inspired the Fokker F-50 and F-60 series, which evolved from the original F-27 design.
