The package comes with multiple format files. The Fairchild F-27 is a variant of the iconic Fokker F-27 twin-engine turbo-prop commercial passenger aircraft designed in 1950. It had its maiden flight in 1955 and was manufactured by Fairchild Hiller under license from Fokker in the US. The original prototype was slightly tail-heavy, prompting a redesign that stretched the fuselage by three feet and added more seats capacity. West Coast Airlines received the first operational F-27 in September 1958, and these aircraft served various operators throughout their tenure. Retirement of Fairchild F-27s began in the 1980s, although some still operate today. The F-27 lineage led to the development of Fairchild Hiller 227, and further design evolutions included the Fokker F-50 and F-60 series.
