Introducing an entirely revamped Fairchild F-27 model, created in 2016 with enhanced geometry, fresh textures, and additional features. Meticulously constructed near scale dimensions, this model boasts intricate external detailing. It includes fully textured materials corresponding to the depicted livery. Astonishingly lifelike, this aircraft offers animateable features like ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, propellers, landing gear, and landing gear doors. The models come in various format files for versatility. The Fairchild F-27 is a variant of the iconic Fokker F-27, a twin-engine turbo-prop commercial passenger aircraft designed by Fokker in 1950. It took its maiden flight in 1955 and was manufactured by Fairchild Hiller under license from Fokker. The prototype initially faced tail heaviness, which prompted a fuselage extension to rebalance the plane. West Coast Airlines inaugurated operational service with the F-27 in September 1958. Serving a multitude of operators, these aircraft showcased remarkable performance. However, retirement began in the 1980s, though some still operate today. The F-27 inspired the Fairchild Hiller 227, a stretched version, and further evolved into the Fokker F-50 and F-60.
