The redesigned Fairchild F-27 model, released in 2016, boasts improved geometry, new textures, and features. Built nearly to scale, this meticulously detailed aircraft comes with fully textured materials for the livery. Animateable features include ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, propellers, landing gear, and landing gear doors. Multiple file formats are included with each model. The Fairchild F-27 is a version of the Fokker F-27 twin-engine turbo-prop commercial passenger airliner, initially designed in 1950 and first flown in 1955 by Fokker. It was produced under license by Fairchild Hiller in the US, with the first F-27 entering service in September 1958 with West Coast Airlines. The aircraft served various operators and excelled as a frontline airliner for smaller carriers before being gradually retired from the late '80s onwards. Some still operate today. This model led to the development of the Fairchild Hiller 227, a stretched version, and later, the Fokker F-50 and F-60 derivatives.
