The Fairchild F-27 model, available here, underwent a complete overhaul in 2016 with enhanced geometry, new textures and additional features. It is designed with meticulous attention to detail and is built near to scale. This model comes equipped with animateable features such as ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, propellers, landing gear, and landing gear doors. Furthermore, it includes several format files and materials for the displayed livery. The Fairchild F-27 is a version of the iconic Fokker F-27, a twin-engine turbo-prop commercial passenger airliner designed in 1950 and debuting its first flight in 1955. It was produced by Fairchild Hiller under license from Fokker in the United States. The initial prototype faced tail-heavy issues, which were resolved through fuselage extension, adding extra seating capacity. West Coast Airlines became the first operational user of the Fairchild F-27 in September 1958, and these aircraft served various operators worldwide. They excelled as frontline airliners for small carriers before their gradual retirement starting in the 1980s. Some continued in service. The F-27's legacy led to the development of Fairchild Hiller 227, an extended version, and further design developments include Fokker F-50 and F-60.
