The FAI armored car was based on GAZ A's chassis, a replica of Ford A. This weakened chassis couldn't support substantial armor or firepower in battle. German vehicles overcame this by designing multi-purpose chassis for both civilian and military use. However, commercial car-based armored cars were primarily road-bound with lightweight armor and weaponry, exemplified by the FAI's single 7.62mm DT machine gun in a revolving turret. Its armor could resist shell fragments and small arms fire but was vulnerable to heavy cannons or machine guns and mines. Produced before the BA-20, FAI saw action on the Eastern Front of WWII. The 3D model is compatible with Vray 3.6 (native file), Scanline rendering, and exportable in FBX and OBJ formats with preserved materials. Textures are available at resolutions of 4096x4096, 2048x2048, and 1024x1024 within the 3ds Max folder. The model features layers and groups for easy part management, and polygonal Ngons are employed in its construction.
