FAG bottom bracket adapter

FAG bottom bracket adapter

thingiverse

I needed to replace a worn-out bottom bracket with plastic threads, but the required wrench was nowhere to be found. So I took matters into my own hands and created a custom adapter using a 3D printer. The design fit perfectly, but unfortunately it failed when subjected to around 100 Newton-meters of torque while attempting to remove the old bottom bracket. Perhaps this adapter will prove more useful for installing a new one instead. To ensure its stability, I recommend printing with 100% infill and adding support material. It's designed specifically to fit onto a 24 millimeter nut.
