Avebury Down 2017 Trench-9 features an intricate texture.\nTrench-9 boasts two distinct Neolithic pits located at its eastern extremity. One yielded three exceptional scrapers and shards of possible Grooved Ware, while the other was partially backfilled with burnt turf, topped by a broken quern. At the western end, a series of badger burrows is present.
