Faceted Tree Collection (7 models)
prusaprinters
Thank you Troy for the beatuiful make I used as cover! You can find it in the makes/comments section.A set of 7 (might add more) tabletop trees based on my ornament collection. Can be printed in vase mode, no assembly required. This set features variations of this geometric tree concept, decorated with faceted sides. Particularly interesting when printed with high gloss filaments, reflective/silky filaments, and multicolor filaments. This is based on the ornament collection you can find below:https://www.printables.com/model/335925-geometric-ornament-setAll the trees can be printed in vase mode, but you might need to switch to full models depending on your printer calibration, as the models are sharp and might spring around with a little overextrusion, if the corners come in contact with the nozzle. The smaller the nozzle and the bigger the model, the sharper the corners will be. For this reason I suggest a 0.4 nozzle, but keep in mind some filaments might be too springy and cause issues in vase mode. If the corners move around while printing, you will need to tune your extrusion settings or increase perimeters. The sharp corners are great for hiding Z seams. No supports required. Some of the models are pretty elaborate. For this reason, I added decimated versions of each model (marked with “D”), in case your PC or printer struggle to work with dense geometry.
