Faceted Salt and Pepper Mill Top (Trudeau Dalia)

Faceted Salt and Pepper Mill Top (Trudeau Dalia)

I'm in need of new tops to replace the worn-out acrylic on my Trudeau Dalia Salt and Pepper mills. My attempts to source replacement parts directly from the company have been unsuccessful so far. Given that this model can likely be customized using TinkerCAD, I believe it's feasible to adapt it to fit various salt and pepper mill designs. The design features a small divot at the top for the retaining nut, a square hole (5mm in diameter) for the shaft, and a parabolic inner cavity to facilitate printing without support material. During printing, Cura still insisted on adding supports to the faceted edges, so I ended up using supports as needed. If there's interest from others, I'd be happy to modify this design for different mills. As it stands, copper wasn't the most ideal color choice for these mills, but that was what my kids had in mind. This model was created using Tinkercad and can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/iRzl2EoRmJU.
