Faceted Rock Pendant 3D print model
cgtrader
The design of this pendant assumes a solid shape, namely a cube, which is then iteratively dissected to form a rough rock-like appearance. Twenty-five iterations are created, with each iteration building upon the previous one and presented in a compact 5x5 grid pattern. The featured pendant is actually the 17th version of this iterative process, chosen for its considerable flat surfaces while stripping away all edges from the original shape it evolved from. A carefully placed hole is drilled through the pendant to facilitate the insertion of a chain, and the solid is hollowed out to minimize material usage. Printed using a metallic alloy, the pendant retains a pleasing weight and resilience despite being more economical due to its hollow interior, in addition to its textured look and visual appeal. It's worth noting that this product does not come with a chain, but they can be easily purchased from your local craft store at an affordable price. The design is flexible, and happy to adapt it as needed. Each pendant measures approximately 28mm by 32mm by 32mm in size. The creation process involves designing the product in Rhino 3D software before exporting it into STL, OBJ, and 3DS file formats for further use.
