Building plane parts into a three-dimensional shape can be a humorous approach, as seen in this bowl example. By carefully arranging and nesting individual components during creation and shipping, designers can achieve an incredibly efficient use of materials. When paired with a vibrant cord color, it creates a striking contrast against the wooden surface. Notably, on my Candybowl project, I applied a stain to the birch plywood for added aesthetic appeal. My build utilized 6.5 mm stained birch plywood and a Stepcraft desktop CNC machine to bring the design to life. The cord itself is a 4 mm paracord sourced from Opitec.
