I tried angling faces in alternating directions to produce a light-dark-light-dark effect, which would almost conceal the transition from one shade of blue (in this case) to another. This reminded me of the classic checkerboard optical illusion where the same tone serves as both the dark and light square on different parts of the board. I could probably find more information online or provide a link here. Anyway, enjoy!
