I wanted to build a face shield that doesn't require a laser cutter. So I designed this thing. As the visor, I used an overhead transparency sheet. There's a design for sheets in US-Letter-Format as well as one for European DIN A4. This is a faceshield for personal use only. It hasn't been certified for medical use. Use it at your own risk. For making this face shield, you don't need a laser cutter. I used an overhead transparency sheet as the visor. You can find designs in US-Letter-Format and European DIN A4 formats.
