FaceShield RC1 A4 punched pocket version
thingiverse
This is a simplified version of the Prusa face shield, a variant of their Release Candidate 1 ('RC1'), designed to use an A4 punched pocket, which can often be found at local supermarkets and may already be stocked in your office supplies. You can also punch holes from both sides using a perforator on the 'A6' setting. You can easily attach or detach a perforated pocket, allowing you to replace it after just one use. The 3D printed part can be cleaned with soapy water, making it reusable. To secure the mask in place, you can use a buttoned elastic band as described in the original Prusa blog article. Alternatively, you can use a thick rubber band with holes or any other rope or thread; two small holes are provided for threading these through if needed. Find this design on the PrusaPrinters community at https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/26761-faceshield-rc1-a4-punched-pocket-version A faster version of the face shield has also been uploaded, which reduces height by about 60% and removes the hexagonal headband structure. This allows for significantly faster printing times.
