Faceshield Holder for Glasses
thingiverse
During the Covid-19 pandemic the faceshields as part of the personal protective equipment came more and more into focus. This faceshield holder is designed especially for magnifying glasses typically used during dental treatments. The holder is designed to be properly fixed on the temples without any fixation. If the fit is to loose a simple screw (M4) can be added to the hole below the temples. The here used faceshield is from SCHEU-DENTAL GmbH. With a bit of modification other faceshield can also be used. The shield is fixed onto the holder with a wing screw (M4) in order to be able to easily turn up the shield if necessary. The assembly is shown in the pictures above. The holder was designed by +KAF/ (Kompetenzzentrum Additive Fertigung am Universitätsklinikum Tübingen)
