Faceshield Blower
thingiverse
#Current Version: 1.1, In-Beta: 2.1 #Revision Notes: Current Battery Casing is untested, currently it seems to operate better without the flat nozzle. #Description It was requested that I work on an open-sourced blower setup for faceshields. Personal care and personal support workers (PSWs) are currently facing significant challenges with regards to maintaining proper PPE isolation and providing some of the basics of care, like showers. In order to limit fogging of the faceshields with which they are issued, we are designing lightweight but suitably durable faceshield fans, with included space for replaceable filters. ##Additional Components - Re-useable faceshield with foam, at least 30mm thick. (Or see new revision to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4611135 for a semi rigid frame) - Motor, see PDF spec for motor dimensions. 1-1.5V nom. - Batteries, AA. Designed to be run off of 2xAAs in parallel for runtime, or a single AA if desired
