Faceplate for DDS Signal Generator for SSB6.1 Project
thingiverse
Here's my attempt to make a faceplate for the SSB6.1 Ham radio kit. Version 1 is a very basic plate with holes for front mounting screws, easy to adapt to your own custom case. Version 2 has a more finished look and moves closer to making a full case. I've made the mounting holes smaller in hopes of using M3 screws through the rear threaded directly into the hole. If this doesn't work well, I'll probably add a slot for inserting a captured nut and beef up the support holes. I've also added some support structure between keypad buttons, which may be unnecessary now that side walls have been added. There is very little information available on cases for the SSB6.1 kit, so my goal is to build a fully 3D printable case starting with the faceplate. Check back later for more updates.
