"Face the COVID" mask

After seeing numerous mask designs, I decided to create my own, consisting of just 2 pieces plus a band if needed. This design utilizes standard cotton pads as filters, which can also be replaced with other materials. It's essential to replace the cotton pads after each use and clean the mask using an alcohol-based solution. The first design is tailored for a medium-sized male. I plan to share additional dimensions or enable users to customize their own designs in Fusion 360 (refer to the next section). When printing with PLA, you can also thermopress it using hot water or a heat gun. PETG might work as well. To enhance comfort, consider adding soft materials to the edges, similar to other designs (e.g., https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4260708). Printing in TPU will make the mask flexible. I intend to experiment with printing in PETG and then switching to TUP for the top layers. Disclaimer: This is not a medical device and should not be used as such. The filtration effectiveness of this design has not been proven, so it's best used only when no better option is available. The good news is that it can be cleaned and reused.
