Face Shield Visor with A4 transparent sheet

As the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, medical supplies are dwindling rapidly, leaving frontline workers scrambling to stay safe. To lend a helping hand, I've created a simple face shield visor design that can be printed in under 40 minutes using readily available materials. The frame is crafted with Fillamentum CPE through a 0.6 nozzle at a 0.3 mm layer height, while the PVC covers are carefully cut to 250u thickness using a standard hole-punch. This eliminates the need for specialized laser or cutting equipment, making it accessible to those in need. While these visors are not yet medically approved or tested, I'm sending prototypes to a few doctors next week to gauge their effectiveness. I hope this contribution will help mitigate the shortage of protective gear and keep essential workers safe as we navigate this challenging time together.
