As you may already know due to the covid_19 medical supplies are running out quickly and people who are at the front lines are struggling to keep themselves safe.

To try and help I have designed a quick and easy design of a face shield visor that can be printed in less than an hour and uses A4 PVC covers. The frame is printed using Fillamentum CPE using a 0.6 nozzle at 0.3 mm layer height.

The PVC covers are 250u and I used a hole-punch to create the holes. So no laser or cutting equipment is needed. Holes are punched with a standard hole puncher (80 mm distance between holes) on the starting edge of the A6 setting.

I hope you find this useful and I pray to God we get through this with ease! Stay safe everyone! #togetherwecan

If you are able to print it and test I would love to hear back from you!

*Please note these are not medically approved nor tested yet. I am sending to a few doctors next week to try them out.

Print instructions

Printed using a 0.6 mm nozzle.
Layer height: 0.3 mm.
Infill: 30%
Printing Speed 65 mm/s
Perimeters: 3
No support, No Raft.
