Covid-19 Emergency - Face Shield / Splash Shield PPE - personal protection equipment (tips are graciously accepted to help pay for supplies to make these) Intended for use by emergency responders, and medical staff in place of commercially available splash shields during this time of low supply. Please use and modify as you wish or need to supply those in need with much-needed splash shields! Designed factors: * Face shield stays secured once attached for user safety. * Quick to print and assemble. * Uses a low amount of filament. * Able to print on smaller MakerBot Replicator / FlashForge-style printers. * Flexibility on elastic strap material - use what you have, even rubber bands if needed. * Comfortable to wear without the need for foam padding. Items Needed: * Transparency film (can use any thickness, but 2mil or thicker is best) 8 1/2 x 11 or A4 * 1/2" or smaller sewing elastic (or anything that can be used as an elastic band to hold the mask on) - I use 3/8" because that's what I could get quickly. * 3 hole punch or hand punch to put the holes in the transparency * Filament and printer Print 2 buckles and one body. This is version 5 of the design.
