My wife works in food manufacturing, where she needed printed visors that could withstand 8 hours or more of constant use without slipping. Since these visors would be worn in a factory environment where contamination prevention is crucial, I couldn't rely on elastic bands or cloth straps to keep them secure. Although the Brussel888 design is impressive, I found that when worn for extended periods without a strap, the visors started to slip after about an hour or two. To address this issue, I designed an adjustable strap that fits perfectly with the loops on the back of the headband. When printing PPE items like these visors using filament containing metal powders, it's essential to note that if they break and contaminate food products, they will be detected by mandatory metal detection procedures in food manufacturing factories.
