Inspired by the innovative design at Thingiverse (4204061) and Prusa's expertise, this face shield offers a practical solution for everyday use. Printing with ABS or PLA at 20% infill provides sufficient structural integrity without requiring support material. Any rubber band or elastic can be used to secure the mask in place, while three-millimeter screws ensure a snug fit. To minimize waste and maintain efficiency, keep plastic hole diameters as small as possible. Acetate makes an excellent choice for front cover material, with a thickness of 0.5mm to 2mm being suitable. However, opting for a thicker gauge will provide added durability. When cutting the acetate, be mindful of leaving sufficient material on both top and bottom edges. Please note that this face shield is not a substitute for proper protection against airborne pathogens. To ensure maximum safety, it is crucial to wear an N95 or equivalent respirator in conjunction with this mask.
