Face shield (NHS specs)
thingiverse
**TRIED AND TESTED BY NHS ICU CONSULTANTS** This is my version of a COVID facemask, based on the 'altered swede'. It's designed to be light, quick to print, but also meet NHS requirements. Our hospital has decreed that 3D printed face shields must: - have a closed upper section - fit over a FFP3 face mask - have rounded corners **VERSION 1.1 and 2 now uploaded. Version 1.1 has side clips to help retain the edges of the visor film, Version 2 has slightly more edge protection at the top** **19/05/2020 NEW VERSION! Version 3 has slightly longer arms - this makes the fit more comfortable. It should also now be printed with top layers ON as it has space cut into it to reduce weight and material. Rotate to fit on an Ender 3 bed** **22/04/2020 HEADBANDS now added. Can be printed in PLA with 1 layer thickness. Loop on itself and wrap each one round each arm, and adjust** TO DO: - optional headband - stacked version
