Face Shield Headband to use with strap - Brussel888
thingiverse
My wife works in a food manufacturing plant, requiring printed visors that can withstand long hours of use - at least 8 hours of continuous wear. Since these visors will be worn in a factory environment where preventing contamination is crucial, I had to avoid using elastic bands or any type of fabric strap.\r\n\r\nI tried the Brussel888 design, but it failed to hold up during extended wear without a strap. After testing, I found that they would stay in place for about an hour before starting to slip.\r\nSo I created an adjustable strap to work with the loops on the back of the headband.\r\nWhen printing PPE items like these visors with metal-powder filaments, it's essential to note that if they break and contaminate food products, they will be detected by mandatory metal detection procedures in most factories.\r\n\r\nI hope this design is helpful to someone! Stay safe!\r\n\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4239203\r\nFor the original and stacked versions.
