FACE SHIELD FRAME V1.5 (NORTH AMERICA PUNCHER)

FACE SHIELD FRAME V1.5 (NORTH AMERICA PUNCHER)

thingiverse

This is another simplified frame idea ready for 3D printing fast using low material consumption. It could be used theoretically as Face Shields when combined with PETG transparencies. On this design, you will need a hole puncher North American version for the transparency. It is ready for a rubber band, a cord or and elastic headband. Holes could be used to tight a laze there or simply use a rubber band on the outside edge of the circles. The idea was developed in response to the global shortage of PPEs COVID-19 in the healthcare systems. The design uploaded here is NOT however certified as PPE nor has been used in the field. Test it on your 3D printer if you like the model and feel free to develop further on top of this idea. I am not encouraging the use of these devices in the field since PLA and other 3D printing materials are porous, catch bacterias, and typically produced in unregulated environments. If you receive this design by someone claiming this is a PPE consult your local authorities first.
