Face Shield Frame Rack - Rack or Stack
thingiverse
As I was manufacturing 3DVerkstan face shields (https://3dverkstan.se/protective-visor/?fbclid=IwAR1dQ1qstvOAFkMWOB7NAC0poGosp2XY62oZ83y59HfOtUT6HbPZaZKY97Q), I encountered a challenge. It was hard to easily manage or move more than 5 or so before they got tangled. This solution allows you to neatly store and move dozens at a time with ease. This device can be used in two ways: 1. To stack them, print a single unit, insert 2x 9.5mm dowel into the two inner holes (top or bottom, it doesn't matter). Lay on its back and thread the loops at the back of the frames over the dowels. 2. To rack them, print two units, insert 2x 9.5mm dowel into the two outer holes (top or bottom, it doesn't matter). Stand horizontally and hang the frames across the two dowels. In both cases, the longer the dowel, the more frames it will fit. In both cases, the dowels should be opposite each other on the short side (see pictures for correct orientation). After this crisis is over and face shields are no longer required, lay the rack version on its side and you can use it as filament storage. Enjoy your new solution!
