Face Shield Frame
thingiverse
Updates: Resolved issue with non-manifold edges, streamlined geometry. FINAL Remix file features a slightly wider gap and a beveled gap at bed height to prevent edge fusion during printing. Included Blend file for further modifications. 3D printed face shield with closed top now compatible with A4 acrylic sheets, utilizing friction fitting to eliminate the need for punching holes. This remix is based on Gesichtsschutz by Wessix on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4238300), which draws inspiration from Hanoch's design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4235098). To enhance usability, I modified the wings to eliminate the need for elastic. The front and sides now feature risers, allowing for easy loading of transparency from the top and smooth pulling through. Continuing to refine the design through ongoing test prints.
