I'm a member of makervsvirus.org and was asked to design a face shield with an extension that allows wearing magnifying glasses behind the shield. The design also required a cover at the top. Existing designs were either too heavy or lacked this essential feature, so I combined the classic RC3 design with its slim front part. You can use standard RC3 shield foils featuring 8-6-8 holes. As I created a modular CAD model, I was able to provide a lightweight open version starting at approximately 40g and a reinforced version with a lid weighing around 70g. This allows you to choose the design based on your specific requirements and material selection. If you print with PETG, the versions with reinforcement ribs will not be necessary. If any special adjustments are needed, please let me know and I'll do my best to include them in an updated version. Additionally, upon request, I added US versions for your convenience.
