face shield for mounting on magnifying loupes
thingiverse
This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4517181 I like the design, as it fits on my loupes without any modfication and it is very light. Also it's very convenient, that you can easily replace the covers as the tape is reusable. And the A4 PVC overhead sheets are very cheap! The only disadvantage is when not treating patients, the reflections from my head lamp are annoying and patients do nut hear me very well. Both issues are resolved by making a version that you can flip up. To make a rotating version, I designed a two part holder. Because of the shape of the mating parts there is a designated up and down position. Apart from the 3D printed parts, you also need 2x M2 3mm thick threaded inserts, 2x 10 mm M2 screw and 2 springs (I did you 1 third of a spring of an old ballpoint). I made 2 versions, one opens a little more than the other. Depending on the size of your head and loupes you have to choose either. I only uploaded the right side version. To print the left side you have to mirror the right side in your slicer.
