Face Shield for around the neck

Face Shield for around the neck

thingiverse

I wanted to wear a face shield that didn't put pressure on my head, so I looked for one designed to be worn around my neck like a necklace. The bonus is it doesn't mess with your hair! However, using a face shield as a necklace has its drawbacks - the shield won't move when you turn your head. The parts are designed to snap together, making it easy to adjust and change the design. You can even glue it in place if you don't want to make any adjustments. The necklace part is adjustable to fit comfortably around your neck, while the face shield holder can be moved up or down to change how close it is to your chest or face. You'll need transparent binding covers for the shield that are at least 8.5 x 11 inches and 10 mil thick. While you could use non-transparent ones, they wouldn't allow you to see through the shield. To put them in place, punch out four holes with a hole punch and snap it into position. If needed, you can easily replace or clean the binding cover, and even cut off any sharp corners that bother you.
