Face Shield for 140mm Print Beds

This is a custom version of the face shield design created by 3DVerkstan. In the photo, the shield on the left is the customized shield, while the right shield is the original 3DVerkstan shield. After printing multiple full-sized shields, I was contacted by someone who runs a lab using Flash Forge Finders. These printers have a build volume of 140mm x 140mm. Due to the lack of available designs that fit these smaller machines, I adjusted and shortened the 3DVerkstan design to accommodate the smaller build plate. An elastic or two is needed to snug up the shield against the face. The shorter arms tend to push the shield forward off the head without the elastics holding it in place. Any type of elastic material can be used for behind the head. Despite its smaller size, the shield provides comparable comfort to the 3DVerkstan design. Prints in approximately 25 minutes. Currently, the pegs that attach to the transparency sheet do not align with any standard hole punch (that I'm aware of). I am modifying another version to correct the pegs to fit a US style hole punch. However, I wanted to release this version now before completing that work in case others from countries with different hole punches want to customize for their region.
