Visor protects against Covid-19 virus etc. Everything included except transparent sheet. Elastic band in back is 3D-printed along with padding for forehead. These are usually extra components, but 3D-printing them simplifies production and makes it independent. Transparent sheet requires standard hole punch of ISO 838 to fasten; four holes of six millimeters, eighty millimeters apart. Elastic band is strong and stretchy; six times its length. If it feels tight, you can stretch it longer. However, if damaged, it will break. Important: To avoid damaging elastic band with double springs, print in PETG or good PLA at 215 degrees Celsius on small raft with Z-seam at negative eighty millimeters. Here are some damages to avoid: Z-seam is a weakness, so set its X coordinate to minus eighty millimeters to avoid it on the springs of elastic band. Bad PLA is brittle and breaks easily when stretched or bent. Small brittle points can break with a nick and spread as cracks, breaking the elastic band while the rest remains strong. PLA becomes brittle with age. Printing directly on build plate without raft or brim is fast but can make initial layer uneven, focusing forces to a point and starting a crack. Désinfecting: Virkon works well, but Isopropanol weakens PLA significantly. Better use PETG for désinfecting.
